Otago Cricket will again be delivering in-school 'School Visit' sessions to schools throughout Otago. Visits are delivered in school time, and are designed to teach Primary School children valuable small-ball and cricket skills through play!
These visits will also drive registrations for modified cricket teams from your schools (Girls Smash, Summer Smash & Smash Play), and Junior Club Registrations.
Sessions will be able to be completed in Term 1 (2024), as well as Term 3 & 4 (2024).
- Term 1 Visits: to be arranged between teachers and Otago Cricket staff.
- Term 3 Visits: to begin as early as Monday 5th August, and go until Friday 2nd September.
- Term 4 Visits: to begin as early as Monday 14th October, and go until Friday 13th December.
OCA staff can also provide Coach Education for coaches of school teams wanting assistance. For any questions on booking a School Visit or organising some coach assistance for a school team, please contact the relevant Cricket Development Staff in your region!
